We have to speak up this year about a film that
was selected by our group. Speilburg's Lincoln.
Some of us had real skin in the game during the
civil war and lost relatives in that tormenting time
in our nations history. For those fallen patriots to
be misaligned in a movie after sacraficing life and
property is the greatest insult the arts can bestow
To say it is only a movie
and use Lincoln's exact appearance and speeches,
then change important known facts into some sort of
real world meaning makes this movie a slam on those
that died defending Lincoln's gameplan.
Speilburg, you never
called Hitler a hero so why would you say people
from Conn. backed slavery.- You slimed them.
freedom they died for is still being sought out many
years later by those that run to our shores daily.
Ring any bells???.
